Goverment Vehicle caught doing almost 100mph on highway

On a late commute on I-270 southbound, I was nearly rear ended by a Black Ford Taurus speeding down the highway. I moved to the right to allow the faster traffic, and when the car passed noticed it was a government vehicle. There was slower traffic ahead, which blocked the car from moving too fast for a little while. This allowed me to catch up without having to speed myself. This is when the video starts (see below), and in the video you can see his erratic driving, and fast speed. I did manage this time to keep up with him a short distance when you accelerated to 100 mph (+/-). I would only go up to 90mph with the amount of traffic. Once again, he slams on the breaks as he nearly rear ends another vehicle. Because I could not maintain the same speeds safely, he quickly moved south quite far ahead.

My suspicions based on the drivers look, vehicle type, and driving characteristics, this may have been a secret service or other federal enforcement (police) agent.

I wish there was a way to report this driver to the agency he works for, but for now I don't have that information.

Another Double Whamy - Montgomery Village June 22nd, 2007

Another Double Whammy of bad parking. I guess when you're stupid, your just stupid (and inconsiderate). I like the fact the tag on the second car says in affect High Tensions, I was just waiting to cause some high tensions on this one. However, after falling asleep for about 15 minutes waiting in the car, I was too tired to get confrontational with the driver when they showed up. The driver did kindly ask if I could move my car so she could get it. This time I just moved, and went on my way. the Van driver never showed before I left.

Rockville, Maryland June 19th, 2007

The above picture and below video are of a driver having a psychotic episode in her car going up I-270 northbound in rush hour traffic. I've seen some crazy people, but so far, she's the worst or craziest anyway.

Bethesda, Maryland, Fri, May 11th, 2007

This is the first agressive driver submission. Although I have plent of video that I need to edit and post, this driver I was able to get a couple of photos of.

The photo, doesn't show any of the major infactions inflicted, however this white-male driver was crossing all lanes of traffic on southbound Rt. 355, Wisconsin Ave. with little regard to safety or courtesy. High speed, also was involved This driver was not too bright, as for more than four miles Between NIH and downtown bethesda (until I turned off), I was able to maintain, or recapture the lead against this driver by simply driving in the same lane at modest speeds.

The actions of this driver, had it been seen by an officer, would have be extreme enough to warrant a possible arrest, not just ticketing.

Funny thing is, I don't often see aggressive driver's in "plain jane" Honda Civics. Usually when that act like that, they have tacky add-on ground affects or cheap looking rear spoilers.

Washingtonian Center (Rio), Gaithersburg, MD Fri, May 4th, 2007

This was a multi-catch day.

These take place at the rear parking area behind and close to the Target at the Washingtonian Center (known locally as the Rio). The first shown above is a new Mustang that just did a poor job of parking. I returned and departed before this driver arrived back to his vehicle.

The second vehicle is "one of those" who thinks it's OK to take up two spaces in a crowded lot. Back in the day, I would do a number of things to inflict damage or inconvience to these driver. Now, I just keep it legal and post the idiots here. I'll let the rest of you tair 'em up, or whatever.

On a Friday, at this shopping center it is very crowded, with never enough parking, unless you assend to the upper level of the stacked parking garage. But this truck didn't feel the need to bother, but did manage to be selfish and inconsiderate. Again, I had to depart before this driver returned.

Gaithersburg, MD Sat, April 28th, 2007

At the Office Depot on Shady Grove Road, near HomeDepot/Best Buy. This was a very exciting capture. First of all, this was practically a double whammy. The Subaru on the left was also over a little too far (may be noticable in the bottom picture to the left), however not enough to warrant submission to the site. However, the SUV on the right was clearily disregarding the parking lines. It too may not have made the blog, except that the driver and some other person were there standing.

After returning from my shopping, they asked why I took a picture of the vehicle. I replied (as I often do) with a very non-confrontational

"To put on my website of bad drivers and parking."

She apparently didn't hear me completely or didn't understand, be she again asked my I took the pictures. I gave the same response. We immediately she got angry (no suprise). She actually tried to justify her parking as perfectly acceptible. I huffed at that response and so she began saying insulting comments. I replied with a few minor insults of my own, as I began to enter my vehicle. The Other female was more fawl mouthed, and so, seeing possible additional content, I whipped out the video camera and began filming. Of course this really upset them and they kept saying they were going to call the police, and picked-up the cell phones. I explained that the law allows me to film anything in the General Public, and hence I could photograph, film, etc. as I pleased, since it was not of a personal nature.

I drove away after aquiring a few minutes of additional video (which will be posted later), and now bring the pictures and story to you.

Oh, BTW, that's a Proffessional Fire Fighter's Tag. I dought that overweight old hag was a firefighter.

Germantown, MD Sun. April 22, 2007

On a day where parking was at a premium at Milestone Shopping Center (this corner is known as the Neelsville Village Center). I assumed this was a Starbucks patron, as it was very close to that establishment, however, I did not stay long enough to see the driver and departed before their return.

May car is parked parallel to the curb on the left side, which is why the angle looks so skewed.

Bethesda, MD (Fri. April 13th, 2007)

At the top of the Parking Deck on Waverly Avenue between Montgomery Avenue and East-West Highway.

There was some sand on the ground, but the stripping is clearly visible to the right side, and partially visable on the left. I believe it was an attempt to discourage other folks from parking next to him/her. They likely had to crawl in from the passenger side when they departed.

Bad Driver's

This is the begining of my Bad Driver's site. Later there will be a dedicated website. I will be posting photos and video of bad driver's here on this site. Since I almost always carry a camera with me, it's not hard to miss these assorted bad drivers. Parking usually only requires a photo usually. In most cases, tag nos. will be see in the photo, or listed in the accompanying text.

Feel free to add comments, but make them relivant to the report. Something like, you've witnessed the same car, know the area where they live, etc. This is NOT a place to vent your fustrations. If you want to post your own bad driver info, it must be accompanies by an photo or video that you took, or give a precise Tag no. with State. Other information will be deleted to keep the focus on significant content.

Now, let's start with some reports:
